Andrea is a Swiss learning and development specialist in London with thirty years of international management, consulting and coaching experience. Fluent in German and English, she has designed and delivered development initiatives in the USA, Europe, South Africa, China and Canada, many of them in start-up or merger situations.
Her core expertise is leadership development, organisational effectiveness and culture change, strategic facilitation, and international talent evaluation and development.
Previously, Andrea held in-house positions with Korn/Ferry International (Principal for Leadership and Talent Development), Lore International (EMEA Director of Consulting Services), and Capital One Financial Services (International Talent Development Consultant).
In in-house consulting roles, she has served clients such as Boehringer/Ingelheim, RWE IT, Merck, LEO Pharma, Merial, Herrenknecht, Kraft and Arrow Electronics. She also consulted with Abbvie, Andritz, O2, Rolls Royce, Glaxo Smith Kline, Rexam, and a variety of strategy consultancies.
Andrea brings a sound academic background, with Master degrees from the University of Zurich and the George Washington University, where she also worked as a researcher. She served as faculty at the Institute for Leadership and Communication (an MBA program in Lucerne, Switzerland), and consulted with THNK, the School for Creative Leadership in Amsterdam.
Andrea is a certified partner of Denison consulting (Corporate culture/strategy alignment) and the Decision Dynamics group (Executive Assessments & Coaching).
She is passionate about enabling leaders to draw on their inner power, their mission and unique strength, as they engage their organisations in deep change and innovation. Hence, Andrea sees leadership development in a systemic context; acknowledging and strengthening the leader’s role as a driver of corporate effectiveness and high performance culture.
Andrea is also a Martial Arts and meditation teacher, and she brings these skills into her corporate work.
