Leadership Potential

Developed in partnership with Hogan Assessment Systems(tm), the Denison Leadership Potential Report (DLPR) is a tool that provides a valid prediction of a leader's likely performance. It measures twelve leadership competencies which align to scientifically validated performance drivers.

The Assessment

Picture
The DLPR is generated from a participant's responses to three seperate Hogan self-assessment instruments: The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), the Hogan Developmen Survey (HDS) and Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI). Responses to these assessments indicate the participant's ingrainded personal characteristics and motives, which inform the potential manner he/she will behave and perform as a leader.

The report

In mapping these leader attributes to the Dension Leadership Development Model, the easy-to use format of the DLPR report allows user to:
  • Make the connection between personality, values, and the potential for leadership performance
  • Visualize a participant's potential to exhibit the twelve leadership competencies on a scale of low to excellent potential.
  • Identify areas of innate leadership potential and opportunties for development.
In the leadership potential report, clients receive the data charts and comments - validated in the interview process. Depending on the client's needs, the Hogan results can also be provided.

Why it matters - benefits

The Denison Leadership model can be directly linked to organizational performance metrics, as it measures the leader's ability to drive core capabilities such as:
  • Adaptability (Are we listening to the market place),
  • Mission (Do we know where we are going?),
  • Involvment (Are our people aligned and engaged?) and
  • Consistency (Does our system create leverage).
The right mix of these corporate capabilities is scientifically connected to Profitability, Sales Growth, Market Share, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction and Innovation (read more on our Audit and Alignment page. )
